Castrol Brake Fluid DOT4 is designed for use in all brake systems, particularly those that are frequently subjected to high loads.
ADVANTAGES
The product is a blend of polyalkylene glycol ethers and boron esters combined with highly effective additives and inhibitors to provide superior corrosion protection and high temperature vapor lock resistance.
The fluid is formulated so that the fluid reaches a much higher boiling point than traditional glycol ether brake fluids over the life of the product.
Castrol Brake Fluid DOT 4 is fully compatible with other fluids meeting FMVSS 116 DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 specifications. However, to maintain the exceptional performance of this product, avoid mixing with other brake fluids.
All conventional brake fluids break down during use. It is strongly recommended to change Castrol Brake Fluid DOT 4 in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Unless prescribed, it is recommended to change the fluid every 2 years.
